I came here off someone's recommendation.. it did not disappoint!.. food was VERY good. Ambiance was nice n calm. Service was great, the lady behind the counter, was very nice and courteous..

Ribs on the Run and more! The best thing about the new owners is the welcoming manner in which the greet you; mother and son both have the most beautiful smiles which make you feel like you're home! Love it!!! For the folks who worked in the New York telephone Co. at the Westchester Square office, the ribs and wings are the same as they were back then....The "more" part of the menu!!!!!!!! The collards are amazing! These greens give Melba's and Sylvia's a run for their money. The candied yams are way better and for dessert the fried raspberry cheesecake is an OMG! Let's beg them to come back to the Bronx!!!!!

BIG Kudos/shout out to the new owners/staff members of Ribs On the Run!!!! The ribs are the best in Westchester, hands down!!! This staff is friendly courteous, and pays attention to detail when it comes to accurately servicing your order. Even though they closed at 8:00 PM, on a Sunday, I took a shot in the dark, to reach out to Ribs On the Run to notify them that they forgot my peach cobbler, without a second thought the very friendly team members were like no worries we'll just drop it off at your house even after they're closing hours. They were fast with my order efficient and most importantly, the food was delicious! Everything was freshly made and in great portions., I highly recommend this spot, and will be visiting them a lot more in the days weeks, and months to come. Thank you very much from a very happy and sincerely appreciated customer. OUTSTANDING!!!

The person that answered the phone was energetic, polite and knew the answers to all my many questions, his name is Quincy and he should get a raise!!! The food was delivered in a timely manner I live about 6.5 miles away and not only was the food delivered hot is was absolutely totally scrumptious! The chicken breast was moist and the sauce was tangy just like I like! My husbands ribs were tender and fell off the bone! He loved the potato salad and I loved the Mac and cheese! I don't know what the place looks like because I had the food delivered. The young lady that delivered the food was sweet and polite! On this rainy day this was comfort food at the highest level! It's hard to find independent BBQ stands in the NYC area - we tend to get a lot of the chains. Ribs On The Run boasts all the great characteristics you want in a truly local BBQ spot. The meat is tasty, cooked with the precision you want from a top notch BBQ restaurant - the chicken and ribs are equally tender and juicy and come right off the bone. The sides are particularly exquisite: the cole slaw, which many restaurants can get a tad sloppy with, is rich in taste, chopped just right, and a great companion to their baked beans. Topped with some of their BBQ sauce, they round any BBQ meal out perfectly. The BBQ sauce... has a deceiving look: it's particularly red... you'd think it resembles ketchup more than the tangy and spicy cocktail you expect for your meats - but it's exactly that. The right amount of spice balanced with the right amount of vinegar and sweetness. A gem in the NYC area, and really kick back. A great place to get away from the usual hustle and bustle and uncomfortable pretensions of so many restaurants in the vicinity while getting quality food.

Amazing food. I ordered thru Grubhub. Food came timely and hot. I got a combination with the ribs, shrimp and chicken wings. Side was Mac n cheese. If I tell you every bite beyond delicious would you believe me? Well believe me it was. Dessert was fried cheesecake. Also amazing. Super highly recommend. Fest and enjoy
